Austin American-Statesman Endorses Lindsey!

In the candidates’ panel discussion with the Statesman’s Editorial Board, Stringer called out the district’s poor outcomes with economically disadvantaged students as “a moral problem, that this is how it’s been for so long.” She sees a connection between those failed outcomes and the fact that families of roughly a third of the school-age children living in the district are not choosing Austin schools - which, in turn, means less state funding for our cash-strapped district.
